PCB Manufacturing Process

1. Engineering Design
• Use CAM software to process customer Gerber files and complete DFM (Design for Manufacturing) analysis
• Customized multilayer structure and impedance design to meet high-frequency/high-speed requirements
2. Substrate Preparation
• Carefully selected materials such as FR-4, high-frequency PTFE, or metal substrates
• Precise cutting with an automatic cutting machine, tolerance control ±0.2mm
3. Pattern Transfer
• Laser direct imaging (LDI) or UV exposure process
• Line width/spacing capability: minimum 3mil (HDI board can reach 1.5mil)
4. Etching Process
• Precise control of acidic/alkaline etchants
• Copper thickness uniformity ±10%, edge verticality ≥80°
5. Lamination Technology
• Vacuum hot pressing molding to eliminate the risk of bubbles
• Multilayer board alignment accuracy ≤25μm
6. Drilling
• Mechanical drilling (6mil-6.35mm) and laser drilling (2-4mil)
• Hole position accuracy ±0.05mm, roughness ≤25μm
7. Through-Hole Metallization
• Chemical copper plating + electroplating process
• Through-hole copper thickness 18-25μm, meeting IPC-6012 standard
8. Solder Mask and Surface Finish
• LPI solder mask ink, resolution 40μm
• Optional processes: immersion gold (ENIG), immersion tin, OSP, electroplating gold, etc.
9. Forming and Testing
• CNC/V-CUT panel separation, dimensional tolerance ±0.1mm
• 100% flying probe/AOI testing, impedance testing ±10%
10. Final Inspection and Packaging
• IPC-A-600G visual inspection standard
• Vacuum anti-static packaging, supporting cleanroom delivery
